Alexakis Panayotis studied economics in Greece and in the United Kingdom. He received his Ph.D. while he was receiving financial assistance by the ONASIS foundation. He has taught in the Departmwent of Business Management of the University of the Aegean, while he is currently teaching as an associate professor in the Economics Department at the Universitys of Athens, Athens, Greece. He has published several research works in professional international journals and he has been thw author (or the co-author) of several textbooks.
