Maria Sidiropoulou is Associate Professor in Translation Theory, at the Faculty of English Studies, University of Athens. Her background is in Linguistics. She has published articles and books in news reporting translation, advertisement and literary translation (poetry, novel, theatre). She has translated and has supervised translation work.
